Several days before the tournament, the weather forecast was for rain, lightning, and high winds throughout the day of the event. It did not look good. The night before the tournament was scheduled, the area was hit with heavy rain and lightning. We feared the tournament would be washed out. However, around 5 a.m. the skies began to clear and stars were shining! The weather turned out great! Lots of sunshine and cool the whole day–great golfing weather! The golfers had a good time and were generous with the various creative and fun ways we provided for them to donate to Genesis House. (Click image below to view photos.)
