Boy Scout Food Drive — November — outside work sorting food items (Daily Bread warehouse)
Interior Decorating — decorate a room
Pick up donations — from your area & deliver to Genesis House
Sort donations at Genesis House I
Gift wrapping for Christmas Party — a Saturday, early December
Help out at annual Christmas Party
Teach any skills (money management, tutoring for GED, etc.)
Write “Thank You” letters
Occasional help with housecleaning
Develop ideas for fundraising

Fundraisers:
Fundraising activities throughout the year help provide funds to operate our shelters. Fundraisers, all held in winter and spring, include: Genesis of Art, Virtual Valentine Party, Mother’s Day Cards and our Golf Tournament.

These fundraising activities are about more than merely raising money. Each time we participate, more people learn about Genesis House and become involved or become aware that there is a place that will help homeless pregnant women and mothers with children.
